- what is depression?
- the condition of feeling sad, despondent or dejected.
- psychology. a psychiatric disorder characterized by an inability to concentrate, insomnia, loss of appetite, feelings of extreme sadness, guilt, helplessness and hopelessness, and thoughts of death. also called clinical depression.
- how does it come in?
- like a roaring lion? 1 Peter 5:8
- the enemy will not come as a roaring lion but more like an invisible toxic atmosphere that will seduce and romance you.
- romance: a passionate emotional attachment or involvement
- a wild exaggeration or picturesque falsehood
- a mental fantasy
- seduce: to entice or beguile into a desired state or position. to win over; attract.

- come boldly to God’s throne of grace for help & mercy. – Hebrews 4:16
- try starting with little steps of thanksgiving as you begin to look to grace

- praying in the spirit will build you up – Jude 1:20
- resist anything contrary to God’s unconditional love and acceptance.
